Sylvester Stallone says Obama was a “Manchurian candidate” Who Was Put in Office to Intentionally Weaken America
American actor and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone though that the 2016 presidential election would be the opportunity needed to get rid of something far more sinister. Stallone wrote on his Twitter profile:
“I voted, did you? Gotta get the Manchurian Candidate out of the drivers seat before were ALL soaring off a cliff into Oblivion … Be smart.”
Shortly after, he added:
“The Manchurian Candidate was a movie about fake president who was put there by foreign enemies to destroy America. Scary concept. Rise up!”
Some of his followers attacked him because he once called Barack Obama a brainwashed plant who took control of the nation as some sort of sleeper agent. But, he fired back almost immediately and wrote:
“Just mixing it up. Getting the blood going! Makes ya passionate, don’t it. Good! Happy with things? OPINIONS?”
When reporters from The Hollywood Reporter asked him to explain, he said that despite his insistence that The Manchurian Candidate was about a “fake president,” he actually meant “Manchurian candidate” as a reference to “all career politicians,” reports The Sports Hall.
After this statement, it’s not hard to guess that Stallone considers all “career politicians” to be puppets of some foreign enemy sent to destroy America from within. We respect him, but maybe he should have stopped after his insulting comments towards Barack Obama.
