Internet Freaks Over 19th-Century Books Featuring Boy Named ‘Baron Trump’
The internet tends to trump things up, but even this boggles the mind: A series of books from the late 1800s depicts a character named Baron Trump. Oh, and the boy is aided in his quest by a man named Don.
Reddit users have been discussing the books, along with a number of other Trump-related conspiracy theories.
The books are credited to Ingersoll Lockwood, a lawyer who dabbled in fantasy fiction.
Lockwood’s series of 19th-century children’s books includes: Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump and His Wonderful Dog Bulger; Extraordinary Experiences of Little Captain Doppelkop on the Shores of Bubbleland; Wonderful Deeds and Doings of Little Giant Boab and His Talking Raven Tabib; and Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey.
Newsweek also wrote about the books, noting that the coincidences go beyond the lead character’s name ― which is just one letter off from the name of President Donald Trump’s youngest child, Barron.
In Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey, Baron is a wealthy young man living in a place called Castle Trump, but his real adventures begin when Don, the “Master of all Masters,” inspires him to travel to Russia, where he finds a portal that allows him to travel to other lands.
The man in the book is actually named Don Constantino Bartolomeo Strepholofidgeguaneriusfum, so yes, “Don” is a title, but still...
Lockwood also wrote a pamphlet in 1896 called The Last President, which does not feature the Baron Trump character but has some interesting parallels to modern times. It begins in New York City, which is up in arms over the election of an outsider candidate. The news causes those “in the upper portions” of the city to sit “as if paralyzed with a nameless dread.”
“Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years,” an early passage of the book reads.
The coincidences in the books are getting interest from internet conspiracy theorists, some of whom believe the portal to other worlds in the Baron Trump book supports a theory that the Trump family has had access to time travel for many years ― through the president’s uncle, engineer John Trump.
John Trump reportedly had access to the papers of Nikola Tesla, who, according to the theory, was researching time travel ― and whose knowledge somehow enabled Trump to win the 2016 presidential election.
Some people don’t know what to think, as YouTube clips like this and thisdemonstrate.
Others simply see opportunity, like filmmaker Leigh Scott, a self-professed Trump supporter who wants to fund a film version of the books via IndieGogo.
Scott specializes in low-budget films that cash in on big-budget movies. Titles include “Transmorphers,” which is about alien robots; “King Of The Lost World,” about a giant ape; and “Dorothy And The Witches Of Oz,” a take on “The Wizard Of Oz.”
He feels Lockwood’s books provide a great opportunity to screw with people’s heads.
“I’m a huge fan of trolling, and making this movie is the greatest opportunity we have to troll the entire media,” Scott says in a YouTube clip pitching the concept. “To make something so bizarre, so professional and so unique that they cannot deny its existence.”
“We all know that if someone discovered a book called Little Chelsea Clinton’s Magical Adventures, Hollywood studios would have Tim Burton and Johnny Depp on the line in a matter of seconds,” he adds.
Considering all the hoaxes that appear on sites like Reddit and 4chan, it’s understandable that this all sounds like some elaborate prank. However, the books are all listed in WorldCat, and some can be found on the Library of Congress website, in addition to Google Books and Amazon.
One blogger discussed Lockwood’s work back in 2009, wondering if “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” author L. Frank Baum “helped himself to some of the ideas here for his Oz books.”
How Guam and Other Areas Are Preparing Amid Escalating North Korea Nuclear Tensions
Guam residents react to North Korea missile threat
As the war of words ratchets up between North Korea and Donald Trump, some cities and other areas within the zone of a possible strike are taking steps to prepare their residents.
While many pieces of the North Korean nuclear puzzle remain unknown, such as whether a rocket could survive reentry, as well as whether the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, will act, some localities are taking measured steps in that direction.
Officials in Hawaii and now Guam have released updated preparedness plans and warning sheets for how their citizens should react in case of a nuclear detonation or imminent missile threat.
The threat of possible missile attack, which North Korea has explicitly made against Guam, prompted the release of several fact sheets on a government website. Hawaiian officials also updated their guidance in recent weeks.
But many other American cities appear to be taking a more limited approach, pointing residents towards existing plans to address a wide array of natural and man made disasters.
Top U.S. officials have also urged calm, including Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who said Americans should "sleep well at night."
How Guam is preparing residentsThe website for Guam's Homeland Security Office of Civil Defense has been updated recently with a number of fact sheets detailing the emergency alert system and giving tips on what to do before, during and after an imminent missile threat.
One of the fliers, "preparing for an imminent missile threat," instructs readers to listen for official information and emergency guidance, take cover, stay inside and not to look at the flash or fireball if caught outside in order to avoid being blinded.
The site also redirects visitors to websites run by the Centers for Disease Control and federal government sites dedicated to building emergency supply kits, tips for sheltering in place and preparing their pets for disasters.
On Wednesday, the offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense released a statement saying that their military partners "continue to monitor the recent events surrounding North Korea and their threatening actions."
The statement went on to say that Guam's homeland security adviser George Charfauros "has not received any statement that there is an imminent threat."
Guam Gov. Eddie Calvo told Reuters Wednesday after that threat was made that he thinks that North Korea is operating from "a position of fear."
"At this point, based on what facts are known, there is no need to have any concern regards heightening the threat level," Calvo said.
Today, Calvo held a briefing during which he said the preparedness releases were published for "eventualities," emphasizing that life should carry on as usual.
"It's a weekend. Go out and have fun," Calvo said.
Hawaii's updated guidance on what to do in event of detonationAnother American island -- Hawaii -- recently updated its guidance on what to do in case of a nuclear detonation, posted July 21 on Hawaii Emergency Management Agency. The substance of the revision was not immediately clear.
The revised plan details how a siren will sound or emergency alert systems will notify people of a nuclear detonation in addition to the observation of a "brilliant white light (flash)."
From there, people are directed to get inside, stay inside and stay informed via radio stations or small portable walkie-talkies.
The skyline of Honolulu is captured from a boat marina. The plan notes that there are no designated blast or fallout shelters in Hawaii.
"You may have only minutes to take protective action -- take immediate action without delay," the plan states.
The plan, which is on Hawaii State Department of Defense letterhead, is labeled as being revised on June 27. No motivation for the release or update was publicly disclosed on the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency.
ABC News reached out to the state's emergency management agency, but did not immediately get a response.
Ground-based interceptor system protects Alaska and continental U.S.The ground-based interceptor system is in place to defend Alaska and the mainland United States against long-range missiles.
There are 32 ground-based interceptors at Fort Greely, Alaska, and an additional four at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The missiles have just over a 50-percent success rate in intercepting incoming long-range missiles in testing over the past decade.
"[The interceptor] would have a hard time protecting Hawaii, but it would protect Alaska and the mainland,” ABC News Aviation Consultant Steve Ganyard, a retired Marine Corps colonel, said.
One problem, however, is that it “could not handle a barrage of 10 incoming missiles. It could pick off a few, but we're not there yet. It’s too developmental a system,” he added.
The emergency management office for Anchorage did not immediately respond to an ABC news request for comment.
The Alaska division of homeland security and emergency management does not have a specified nuclear preparedness plan and Anchorage, Alaska, takes an “all-hazards” approach which has also been adopted in cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles in California.
“During the 1980s the United States government transitioned from the old Civil Defense 'fallout shelter' model of the Cold War-era, to the FEMA 'All Hazards' approach used today,” said Andrew Preis, the Emergency Programs Manager for Anchorage. “What that means to us here in Anchorage is the same preparedness activities undertaken for a large magnitude earthquake would also apply to a nuclear threat as well.”
West Coast tells residents to heed general emergency plansOn the mainland, several population centers on the West Coast repurpose their emergency plans for other disasters, whether they be natural like earthquakes or tsunamis, or man-made like terrorism and a nuclear attack.

"A nuclear strike certainly presents unique challenges but the state has exercised for and prepared for a variety of disasters and many of our response capabilities would be useful following a nuclear event," said Karina Shagren, the spokesperson for the Washington Military Department.
Officials in both Los Angeles and San Francisco take an "all hazards" approach to emergency planning.
"The situation with North Korea has understandably caused concern about what might happen if a nuclear strike targeted and reached the Los Angeles area," said Kate Hutton, public information officer for the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department. "We continue to closely monitor this situation as well as all threats and hazards we might face in Los Angeles."
A view of the skyscrapers of downtown Los Angeles, the administrative and financial districts is captured.Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco, like most major metropolitan areas in the United States, have alert systems that residents can sign up for on their phones or via email.
"It's a very alarming possibility and it's concerning should something of this nature happen," Kristin Hogan, the spokesperson for the San Francisco department of emergency management, told ABC News.
Elon Musk to Trump: You Quit Paris, So I Quit You
The presidential bromance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump is over. Elon Musk announced he is quitting Trump and his advisory board. This happened shortly after the president's decision to pull the US out of the Paris climate change agreement.
The break-up between the two was a long time coming due to their irreconcilable differences and views on climate change. They didn't see eye to eye on the issue. Trump is a climate change denier and Musk is a climate change devotee. It was never meant to be. The two were doomed from the beginning.
Elon Musk's statement following Trump's announcement:
"Am departing presidential councils. Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world,"
The Tesla Tycoon and SpaceX mogul is out and has officially quit two of President Trump's business advisory councils. The decision was made after Trump made this statement.
President Trump's statement:
"The United States will withdraw from the Paris climate accord,"
"but begin negotiations to re-enter either the Paris accord or an entirely new transaction on terms that are fair to the United States."
Musk was one of 18 business leaders serving on Trump's chief business advisory board known as the Strategic and Policy Forum. He was also an adviser on the president's manufacturing jobs initiative.
Trump’s National Security Adviser: “Clinton Child Sex Crimes Are Real”
The retired general whom President-elect Donald Trump chose to advise him on matters of national security has urged Americans to learn about child sex crimes and money laundering allegedly committed by Hillary Clinton.
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn shared two articles on his Twitter account claiming that Clinton was involved in money laundering and a high-level child sex ring.
Flynn later tweeted a link to the Breitbart website on November 4. The article to which he linked quoted former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince, who said that during the Anthony Weiner investigation, “They found State Department emails. They found a lot of other really damning criminal information, including money laundering, including the fact that Hillary went to this sex island with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Bill Clinton went there more than 20 times. Hillary Clinton went there at least six times.“
Flynn tweeted the article with the hashtag #SpiritCooking — a reference to occult practices revealed in a WikiLeaks email from Clinton campaign manager John Podesta.
Drain the swamp
What does Michael Flynn know?
Flynn served in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars as director of intelligence for the Joint Special Operations Command from 2004 to 2007 and also held the same role for the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010.
Flynn headed the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2012 to 2014 before he was reportedly forced out for mismanagement of the agency. Flynn has repeatedly claimed he was wrongfully dismissed, stating that he was forced out because of his views on radical Islam.
In August 2016, Flynn gave a speech at an ACT For America Dallas event. In his speech, he covered topics from his book, The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies. He told the audience that he doesn’t see Islam as a religion and even called it a “cancer.”
“Islam is a political ideology. It definitely hides behind being a religion,” Flynn said, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Hillary Clinton In 2013: “I Would Like To See People Like Donald Trump Run For Office; They’re Honest And Can’t Be Bought”
Hillary Clinton In 2013: “I Would Like To See People Like Donald Trump Run For Office; They’re Honest And Can’t Be Bought”
Before running against billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump for the presidency, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told an audience at a private, paid speech she wanted to see more successful businessmen and women run for office because they can’t be bought.
In a speech made public by Wikileaks – which released an email from Hillary for America Research Director Tony Caark containing three attached speeches given at a private Goldman Sachs events – Clinton spoke and took audience questions at the “Builders and Innovators Summit” hosted by Goldman Sachs on October 29, 2013.
Answering a question about businessmen in politics, Clinton said that they are “most often the people that look over the horizon,” and therefore share a vision that many politicians of today lack.
“And that’s a very good question and thank you for asking it. Yes, I would love to see more businessmen go into politics because I believe they would bring in an entirely different mindset and strategies than what we’re used to seeing traditionally,” she opined.
And then she just had to go on. “In fact, when you say businessmen and women, I can’t help but think of a particular one that I would just love to see running for the presidency at some point in the future,” Clinton added. “I don’t know what it is exactly about him, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but my instinct is almost never wrong. And it’s telling me that Donald Trump would be very successful if he were to venture into politics in the future.”
Asked to elaborate on her statement, the former Secretary of State argued that she thinks that businessmen “can’t be bought” and that they’re “very honest.” “And I think that goes especially for Donald Trump, whose successful projects and business ventures have made him synonymous with big business and, more importantly, creating thousands of jobs. I also think he understands the philanthropic and charitable side of things quite well, which is a crucial skill for any politician,” she praised her current counter-candidate.
“I think he has a lot to offer to this country and its people, especially when we’re talking about the economy,” she continued. “Donald Trump has single-handedly helped stop the recession, more so than dozens of other so-called billionaires. And I don’t know how the experts on the matter feel, but in my book that’s hard evidence of the man’s business prowess and integrity, as well. And I think everyone would agree those are commendable character traits for anyone looking to tackle the most difficult problems and challenges in the world, quite literally.”
“So, yes – Donald Trump is someone I could very easily see winning the support of the people. And I don’t think he would do that with his flammable rhetoric and negotiation skills – which are both things he’s known for – but with common sense and respect for his fellow countrymen. But, most of all – I think his relationship with the opposite sex would bring him the most political points.
I think he respects women and treats them as equals and I also think that would bring him a significant lead over anyone unlucky enough to be running against him,” she ominously concluded in her 2013 speech.

Obama Regime Planning Massive False Flag Terror Attacks on Monday to Halt a Trump Victory
NaturalNews Getting right to the point, Donald Trump is set to win this election by a landslide, so forces inside the corrupt government regime currently occupying Washington are working overtime to try to disrupt the election by any means necessary.
As history has repeatedly shown, when the U.S. government wants to achieve a political outcome (destroying talk radio, confiscating guns, denigrating white people, etc.), they just roll out a mass shooting or terror attack of some sort to disrupt current events, change the narrative, and invoke the emotional response from the public that gives them the support to expand their own unconstitutional power. It works like clockwork for the simple reason that many people are so incredibly gullible and uninformed that they stupidly believe anything CNN tells them.
Now, with Donald Trump clearly positioned to achieve a stunning victory against a criminal cartel of Clinton operatives who are likely to soon find themselves in prison, the Obama administration is unleashing every trick in the book to halt an inevitable Trump victory (and the downfall of the Obama / Clinton racketeering enterprise) and save the Clintons from being indicted.
Obama administration announces attacks in Texas, New York and VirginiaTo achieve this, the government recently issued a warning that “al Qaeda” would attack Texas, New York and Virginia. As reported by CBS News, an obedient propaganda arm of the corrupt government regime:
CBS News has learned about a potential terror threat for the day before the election. Sources told CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton that U.S. intelligence has alerted joint terrorism task forces that al Qaeda could be planning attacks in three states for Monday. It is believed New York, Texas and Virginia are all possible targets, though no specific locations are mentioned.
Later in this article, I’ll reveal to you the obvious fact that al Qaeda is funded by the very same groups that fund the Clinton Foundation. They’re all connected and scripted by globalists (keep reading).
The “al Qaeda” story is just cover for the government’s own domestic terrorism false flag attacksDo you really think it’s sheer coincidence that such an attack would be announced by the government itself, timed to take place just one day before the American revolution movement elects Donald Trump and begins the criminal takedown of the Clinton racketeering enterprise?
Don’t be stupid. There are no coincidences when it comes to power hungry elitists staging world events to consolidate their power.
The real explanation is that if any attacks happen at all, the U.S. government itself will carry out those terror attacks on Monday, immediately followed by Obama calling for an election delay, Martial Law or somehow blaming Trump followers for all the attacks in the hopes of swaying the election outcome on Tuesday.
New York is being chosen because pro-Clinton elements of the government are likely planning to blow up an FBI building (or two), and get rid of James Comey and all his loyalty investigations agents once and for all. Don’t believe for a minute they aren’t capable of this. The Clintons are serial murderers. I don’t have time to go into the entire list of dead people here, but do your research on GoodGopher.com and see for yourself.
(By the way, if you don’t think the government itself will blow up FBI offices and kill dozens of its own agents to achieve a political goal, you don’t know the history of Oklahoma City, which also happened under a Clinton regime, no coincidence…)
Virginia is being chosen to try to tip the scales there in a very tight race that Clinton looks likely to lose. Watch for terrorist targets to include Trump elections offices or infrastructure targets that would prevent Trump supporters from being able to vote (bridges, highways, power grid substations, etc.).
Texas is being selected simply because the federal government hates Texas and wants to see Texans die. It’s no more complicated than that. The terror attacks in Texas will deliberately avoid areas populated mostly by liberals (Austin) while targeting more conservative areas of Dallas, Houston or San Antonio (to kill as many conservatives as possible).
