North Korea Fires Missile Towards Japan
North Korea has reportedly launched a missile towards Japan.
The Japanese government has warned residents that the projectile is heading towards the northern part of the country, according to CNBC.
It’s unclear what type of missile it is.
Local broadcasters have been instructing people to take cover and “evacuate to a sturdy building or basement,” according to social media users.
The North Korean news agency, Yonhap, first reported that Pyongyang had fired the missile from the Hermit Kingdom’s eastern coast.
